I’ve
decided to create my first meme. I’m not sure who would actually do it, but
please be sure to pass it along if you do and include yourself if you want. If you decide to take the meme, please let me know so I can comment yours! :)
Despite
following many blogs and Youtube channels, I have to admit that there are a few
that I really like. I’ll start with the vloggers. My top four favorites are:
1.
Joey Blond Wolf
2.
Sawyer7
3.
Saitama Flowers
4.
Shun
My
top three favorite bloggers are:
1.
Xiaxue
2.
Jiwobiwo
3.
Milky Memoir
4.
Sheena-Kay
a.
Joey mostly vlogs about cosplay, anime and manga
related topics. Yet, there are times she would do a personal video. Out of all
the Youtubers that I am subscribed to, Joey is the most positive. I’m not
saying the others are negative (because they aren’t), but she exudes so much
positivity that is quite contagious. I discovered her videos last year and have
been a fan ever since!

If you read the Naruto manga and check reviews
of the chapters via Youtube, then chances are you probably have heard of
Sawyer. He does reviews for One Piece, Fairy Tale and Attack on Titan, but I’ll
have to be honest here and admit that I mostly watch for the Naruto reviews
(and his personal videos and Attack on Titan). Sawyer’s reviews aren’t
mind-numbing to watch. In fact, he can be quite entertaining with his jokes.
However, you have to be familiar with what he reviews in order to understand
his jokes. Every week when Naruto updates, I check Youtube and low and behold,
there is Sawyer’s update! I highly suggest checking him out if you are a fan of
Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tale, or Attack on Titan.

Saitama is an AMBW vlogger that lives in Japan,
though she does talk about other subjects. I discover her on Youtube when her
husband attempted to take her on a romantic Ferris wheel ride, but he was
scared to death the entire time (which was quite comical to watch, haha). She
does not update her channel often, but when she does there it’s always a good
video!

When I was interested in gyaru, I discovered
Shun’s blog and eventually youtube. There are many gaijin (foreigner) gyaru’s
across the world and Shun is one of them. I liked Shun mostly because of her
friendly demeanor. Compared to other gyaru I’ve seen, Shun is far kinder than
the rest (some seem selective with who they speak to or just plain rude). In addition,
just to clarify not all gyaru, but there are some. Anyways, Shun always treated
me with kindness and respect, as she does with others. Currently, she is no longer a gyaru, but has
moved onto a style called, “Dansou” which does fit her and she also ventured
into Visual Kei. On her Youtube channel, she mostly does tutorials on make-up
and so on. If you’re into fashion, then I would suggest checking her out.
Now
we’ve entered the blogging world.
a.
She can be quite the controversial subject when
entering the blogging world of fashion and such, especially if you’re from
Singapore. Many people that do not care for her and many others do. I’m a part
of the ones that do like her. She blogs about anything and everything, but
mostly fashion related topics. I think she’s a very interesting blogger. She
does have a Youtube channel, but rarely updates it. Now that she is a mother,
she does not update her blog as often, but does update her Facebook page often
with photos of her son, Dash (named after Dash from The Incredibles) and her Instagram.
a.
I must admit that after reading a few Jiwo’s
blog entries since following her, I’ve noticed how similar we are. Because of
this, it drew me into her blog even more. Currently, her blog reviews K-Pop
related topics, reviews on other items, translations (Japanese to English) and
personal entries. I’ve always enjoyed reading her blogs and her layouts. During
the time I self-published my short novel, she gave a great review on her blog
that I really appreciated. She’s a really nice blogger and if you haven’t
already, please check her out because she is a very good blogger.
a.
This blogger to me appears to be a
multi-oriented blogger. What I mean by this is, she blogs about various things,
but mostly her buys on ebay. The items she purchases on there are always very
stylish, especially the glasses. Junko, is a very nice blogger and you should
definitely check her out! Her new layout is very cute!
a.
Sheena was actually one of the very first people
to follow my blog and I’m thankful for that. She has always commented my
entries and has been nothing but kind to me. On her blog, she mostly discusses
book related topics and every now-and-then, she will have a personal entry.
Books are where my heart is and I can relate to Sheena on that level since we
both share the same common interest. She too is coming out with a novel later
this year and I cannot wait to read it!
There
you have it, my favorite bloggers and vloggers all wrapped into one entry! Now
just for fun, I’ll include two of my favorite Tweeters, Alex Sulkin and Ricky. I know
Ricky Gervais can be a bit controversial on Twitter and offend people, but I have
always found him to be funny, in a British humor way, if that makes any sense,
haha. As for Alex, he is the producer of Family Guy and he always post very
sarcastic tweets that are funny in a Seinfeld observational humor
way…sometimes. XD
Aaaw, thanks for the mention. I love your blog too! (*⌒ヮ⌒*)
ReplyDeleteI totally know what you mean about the gyaru thing. I used to be really into it so I followed a lot of gyaru bloggers but practically none of them ever had any interest in me since I'm not gyaru and don't have very fancy outfits (ㆁㅅㆁ✿). Now I'm following a bunch of other kinds of bloggers and I find I'm actually making friends with many of them. Sad but true.
**Although of course not all are like that, some of my best blogger friends are gyaru/gyaru-o who did bother to talk to me (LOL).
DeleteYou're welcome! (*^ワ^*)And thank you very much~! :)
DeleteYeah, I stopped following a few gyaru bloggers because of their demeanor. Some act as if they are highly superior and they own the gaijin gyaru world. Sometimes I think to myself, "Do Japanese gyaru's act in that way too? @o@" It's good that you did make friends with cool gyaru/gyaru-o bloggers!
Aw thanks you were one of my earliest blog supporters as well. Look how far we've come. This is a great list of vloggers and bloggers. I can see why you like them so much and I'm honoured to be included in such an eclectic group. Love that Dash has a real life name-sake.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Haha, I like that too! Dash is a very adorable baby!
DeleteAwww, thank you so much for including me in your meme. You've opened my eyes to a lot of great bloggers/vloggers, as I've kind of isolated myself within the blogosphere these past couple of years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading my blog, and once again, I'm honored to be included in your meme. お互いに頑張りましょうね~♡
You're welcome! I've sheltered myself in a corner to avoid other bloggers also, but lately I have been trying to break out of my anti-social blogging ways and comment on other blogs.
DeleteYou're welcome once again! :)
