School is official in session. It
started January 14th for me. This winter/spring semester I only have
two classes, Biology 155 and English 285 course for Children’s Literature, one
online and the other a classroom class. I’m happy that this will mark my final
semester. Originally, last semester was going to be my final semester, but the
Biology class I wanted to take was full. Because of that, I had to wait to 2014
to take the class and not only that I had to choose a humanities class to make
up 6 credits for this semester. I’ve taken almost all of the humanities classes
at my school, so it was hard for me to choose, until I noticed the Children’s
Lit class. I think this class would be interesting, considering it’s mostly about
books.
Aside from that, I’ve been mostly
working on my FanFiction. Most of my readers that have followed me since 2005
and new readers are happy to see me updating so quickly. I must admit, I am surprised
in myself also. If you read FanFiction, I mostly write in the Naruto section
and only Hinata stories, considering she is my favorite female character not
only in the Naruto verse, but also in anime in general. She's awesome and I suppose I always liked her character because her personality is very similar to mine.
My novel writing has picked up also. I
can’t say exactly when I’ll complete it, but the rate I’m going it should be
completed before the end or beginning of the summer (with a few revisions
included.)
Today, I’m thinking about making an
official intro Youtube video. I’ve made one before back in 2012, but I deleted
it. My channel will be in the “lifestyle” vlogger style, similar to my blog,
since I cannot see myself sticking to one topic. :P
I'm forever jealous that you only have two classes! I hope the children's lit course turns out to be interesting! I wish my school offered more of a variety of when it comes to lit. classes. Children's lit. sounds very very cool!
ReplyDeleteAlso, congrats on your final semester of school! If you don't mind my asking, what do you have planned afterwards?^^
Haha, the most classes I've ever had in college were three. I attempted to take four once, but I could tell it was too much for me lol. Yes, it's an interesting class so far!
DeleteConsidering I started college late, I'll transfer to a university this fall to major in journalism and screen writing. ^ ^
Wow, that is awesome news about transferring! All the luck to you! :D
DeleteI'm taking children's lit too!! :D But it's in French ><
ReplyDeleteすごい。素晴らしい!That seems like it would be difficult, but I know in Canada, French is the second language, correct? Good luck with your Children's Lit! :)
DeleteChildren's Lit sounds exciting. I have a ghostwriting gig and I'm excited about getting paid! Best of luck with your classes and I'm trying to catch up on my fan fiction as well. Right now focusing on Teen Wolf fic 'Save Me'. Hinata rules!
ReplyDeleteAh, a ghostwriting job? Congrats on getting that gig! Thank you. :) A teen wolf series? That sounds interesting! ^ ^ I know, right? Hinata is an awesome character!
DeleteThe children's lit class sounds interesting. I wonder what ages it covers...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really like the picture of you!
From what I've gathered so far in the class, we've mostly covered preschool through early grade school and some middle graders, but mostly the younger age group (4-10.)
DeleteThank you very much! :)
