I just finished my manuscript for Hell Hounds and I feel so accomplished right now. It definitely lifted some needed stress right off of me. I sent the manuscript to my editor and now I wait. In between that time, I feel like I can really relax. I had been putting off a lot of things due to be attempting to focus on my novel. A few of those things include the following,
- Finish playing Kingdom Hearts
- Finish watching Orange Is The New Black
- Catch up on some new anime (Particularly the new Orange anime!!)
I should probably add reading new books to that list as well, since I haven't read much of anything lately. Well, that's a lie...
I have read a bit of Edgar Allen Poe's short stories, but that was about it. I haven't completed that book yet. Either way, I just feel very happy that I finally completed something since Nightmare Chronicles. I had been working on Hell Hounds on and off since 2014. Since then the concept had changed several times, until I finally decided to stick with a concept. Within a month or so, I may start sending the manuscript off to literary agents.
Until then I will take this time to relax and try not to work on mapping out another idea that I had, haha. I had planned to change the concept of another novel I had called Atticus. It would remain psychological as it already is, but I wanted to add a mild fantasy element to it and make the character a few years younger. Yet, not too young, because I wanted it to remain in the "new age" category.
With more time on my hands, I feel less pressed to work on anything else.
I know that my updates are very infrequent. There come days when I really just don't know what to say or just too lazy to type anything. However, I am going to attempt to blog more (even though I know I say that a lot and fail to deliver.) I will try my best!
Considering I have work tomorrow, I'm going to start preparing myself for tomorrow. I hope everyone else reading this is having a good weekend so far! Be on the look out of my next update~!

Congrats on finishing your novel Brit my Panda. Yes do take time to do some non-novel related stuff until you have to step back into the fray again. I have been behind on reading as well and I do book reviews on my blog so yeah, we both need to catch up in that category.
