I've been working on a title called, Atticus. It is by far the hardest story I've ever attempted to write. The ideas are there, but it's forming those ideas into chapters is what makes things difficult. For the past couple of weeks I haven't been working on Atticus or Hell Hounds. I could blame it on work, but when you get off every day at 2pm and don't work on Friday and Saturday's, there shouldn't be any excuses made. The only thing I can say is it's just me being a procrastinator as usual.
I really wanted to finish one of these novels by May or sometimes in May, but I highly doubt that will happen with the rate I'm moving. Sometimes being in the mood to write doesn't do justice and it may be better to write just a sentence, even if you aren't in the mood to write anything. I should start adding additional words to Atticus now, just to say I accomplished something with it, lol.
When it comes to Hell Hounds, I already had more chapters than Atiicus, but it takes me forever to send the chapters to my beta reader. I could have sent her chapter 4 last week, but I never did. Speaking of which, I'll do so after publishing this blog entry.
Originally, I planned on focusing on Hell Hounds only and Atticus much later. Atticus was like a here and there sort of novel. I wasn't working on it often and wasn't focused on it at all. However, as of a few months ago I decided to work on it a bit more because I decided I wanted to seek a literary agent for it.
Hopefully one day Atticus will be sold in bookstores worldwide! It is a dream that I will make a reality...but being a procrastinator is something I have to work on if I want to accomplish this goal.
